Jan. 27th, 2019 09:57 pm— im dae-hyeon, usually just goes by dae. privileged few lovingly call him dae-hyeonie.
— 25 years old, 5'7" but somehow looks even smaller considering he wears very oversized shirts at least 65% of the time.
— somehow has a pretty muscled body underneath it all, which has surprised at least hundreds of people.
— the brightest, happiest smile on earth, could absolutely outshine the sun itself.
— on the other hand, not the brightest crayon in the box, but he tries hard and is very cute, ok.
— a model! pretty c-list. his biggest work was a nationwide ad campaign that only featured shots of him with no accompanying logos or text. it blew up, but only because nobody knew what the ads were for. by the time the company revealed themselves, the hype had died. dae got a good payout from that gig which is helping him live his best life at the moment. he still doesn't remember what the campaign was for.
— N A P. K I N G. it's almost comical how much this boy sleeps. it doesn't matter where or when. he'll find a way.
— when he's not feeling his sunniest, he has a tendency to willingly distance himself from others lest he ruin his happy-go-lucky image.
— ... which was maaaaybe kind of probably definitely inspired by his father, a very traditional korean military man with very traditional values. he very much taught dae to conceal, don't feel, Be A Man, etc.
— an only child; his mom died when he was too young to ever really remember her.
— dad wanted him to enlist right after his military physical at 19 deemed him able because dae was (and kind of still is) fairly directionless. dae had a huge "that's your dream, dad, not mine" moment and refused, especially tired of dancing around his relatively uncertain identity in respect of his father's traditional, more narrow minded values, and the two have been mostly estranged ever since with only the occasional terse, awkward phone calls on holidays out of obligation.
— has a huge tendency to drift through life, from hobby to hobby, from person to person. usually ends up in relationships on accident; usually ends up out of relationships once the other person realizes how vaguely oblivious to it he is.
— pretty pansexual, but probably trends towards a kinsey 4 or 5.
— constantly changing his hair color, whether it's black or blonde or a bubblegum pink and everything in between; a huge sucker for experimenting with his style and his "look". catch this boy wearing every kind of dangly earring, though.
